TennSRS is Closed

But I’m Still Here

Hi there! I’m Randy Brison, and my mission is to love God and love others. I’ve been a creative all my life (anybody else out there build fan-powered egg-carton boats?) and want to use that wiring to make the world a better place.

I officially closed Tennessee Schools Reporting Services LLC at the beginning of 2026. Being in business involved more red tape and bureaucratic hoops than I ever wanted — it’s the constant drain on time and energy for small business owners — and I was not able to bring in partners or buyers to keep it going.

So … all the paperwork has been filed and tax releases granted. TennSRS had a good run, and I was honored to be a trusted partner for several school systems. I felt God telling me to move on, and I am thankful for a clear ending to that part of my life.

Turning that page has allowed me to spend more time with loved ones. For several months, I’ve been more involved with helping family members navigate health challenges. I get to hang out with friends more frequently and play music — one of my greatest joys!

I’ve also begun writing creatively again and am happy to announce I finished the first draft of my second novel — woo-hoo! I am also on the board of our local literacy organization, Reading Empowerment Across Dickson, providing IT support and consultation.

God willing, my community and I will be sharing new content here.

I’m working about an hour or so six mornings a week at a local golf course, and that provides a framework for my life that has been good.

Feel free to contact me anytime if you have spreadsheet or light tech questions or problems — I may not reply immediately, but I’ll do my best to get back to you within a couple of days.

And finally, be blessed! I pray God’s best for you and yours.
